Ehy people, as i said in italian forum i was thinkinng: Why Blizzard don't make portable evrsions of old Diablo games? Now smartphones and tablets are able to support these games and they don't take too much memory and graphic, so why not? Should be a good business and a ncie way to pass the time, say for example when i am in bus going to work woudl be awesome to play Diablo. yeah onliner is possible to find PS emulators with Diablo 1 roms but i doubt this is legal and is not possible to play in battlenet ofc so i am here to launch the idea to Blizzard :), and you? What do you think? p.s. ofc FIRST release Diablo 3 , then all the rest lol.
Ah yeah found something but mostly speaking of tablets, atm i found a website where is explained how to play diablo 1 (froma a playstation rom) on my android smartphone, but as i said i would prefer something with a little battlenet also ^^.
Diablo 2 For Free
If I wanted to play Diablo II on Android I would use Google to compare the various PC Emulators available for Android and make the best choice as opposed to downloading the first $15 Russian app recommended to me by some shill. Play Diablo II and pillage the demonic legions of Diablo as you journey into the darkest depths of Hell in this dark fantasy RPG.
no
Because this would clearly put you in some sort of disadvantage... I personally can't see any good reason for anyone to not approve of this, but prove me wrong. It is in theory possible to run Diablo and Diablo II on x86 devices that can run Linux + Wine. For ARM devices, not sure how possible this is. Technically if the device is powerful enough, you might be able to run Wine with QEmu, or a Windows 95 or 98 install through QEmu. Both those options alone are not going to work well on a lot of ARM devices due to the amount of power required, and running Wine alone isn't possible, since Wine is Not an Emulator, and thus, x86 code is ran natively (which, isn't going to happen on ARM processors) Diablo via the PS1 version + Emulator should be legal, of course given that you own the game (and maybe a PS1 for the BIOS, if required). But idk... And finally, I would love to see a native Android and iOS app for Diablo and Diablo II :) Or as another option, put those games on OnLive. Saves development time, and makes tablet/smart phone/etc people happy :)
diablo 2 on my phone would be awsomeeeee
Why? Touch screen controls would be so incredibly inconvenient.
Yeah, controls would be a problem lol
Why? Touch screen controls would be so incredibly inconvenient.
If done right, I don't see the problem. Movement can be via an on-screen joystick (see GTA III) or touching locations on-screen Attacks and interaction can be done via touch Only thing I see as tiny problem are spells, but maybe single-touch = primary attack or spell, multi-touch = secondary attack or spell Potions belt can be touch Accessing Character/Skills/etc charts, those can be on-screen buttons (this can already be enabled on Diablo II) Multiplayer can either be provided by Blizzard, OpenFeint, or local-wifi (like Minecraft Pocket Edition)
maybe let them release the game first...2 more games after d3 :), yet there is no release date for d3.
Should work like a point&click game with a little lateral skill bar so with left hand you choose skills and with right you move/fire, should not be difficult to do i think, well for sure diablo 3 is easier in controls but i think it could be pretty possible to adapt also the old diablo and the playstation version of the first Diablo infact is more adaptable :). Ofc, first release diablo 3 :P.
Id love a port of d2 on android.
good idea .. having these games on my phone/tablet would be enough to convince me to invest in a controller. +1 to you sir
You can play D2 on android pretty decent now with Exagear... but an official D2 port on android, Blizzard couldn't take my money any faster it could even be at a premium price like 29.99 I WOULD BY THAT ****!!!! as long as i could go online and even still. I would be that little kid saying 'Is this real life ?' Ahahah,.One can only dream. I don't think Blizzard would do something like this unfortunately :(
Bringing D2 alive is like trying to ask your old high school gf to go out with you again after 10 year that you broke off with her. That candle is ment to die and never to be revive guys. Don't try it or you'll just end up burning yourself to death!
cuase they don't have time to sh**t and now you want more from them? give them a break man!! let them breath, they are totally under water with all these magnificent and well-thought changes every 3 months that provide a perfectly balanced and interesting game.
